Serving: Our Community
Habitat for Humanity - West Chester

At West Chester United Methodist Church, we are sponsoring one of five houses (one single and two duplexes) being built in the first phase of an approved fifteen-home Habitat for Humanity of Chester County (HfHCC) subdivision in West Chester right down the street from our church. In addition to the volunteer labor to help build the house, we have committed $75,000 to sponsor one house.

Construction on the first three of these homes is scheduled to begin on July 6. Actual groundbreaking for the site preparation was May 16. Each of these will face Worthington Street; just north of Barnard Street in the East End Community within the Borough (we are physically located within the East End section of town). We are sponsoring the single house. One side of the duplex is being sponsored by the two Presbyterian Churches, Westminster & First. The other by QVC. Sponsors are still being sought for the remaining twelve West Chester homes.
