Opportunities for Prayer
Many of us think of prayer as something to do out of our own need or the needs of others. When we need help, we long for God and pray for God’s help. When we feel guilty we pray. When we are ill or someone we love is ill, we pray. Sometimes we are grateful for God’s help so we pray. These are all good reasons to pray, but prayer is such an important part of being a Christian that we should pray daily whether there is a problem or not.  In our daily prayer life, we should ask God for help for ourselves and others, ask for forgiveness, ask God to guide us in all we do that we may truly be God’s servants. We must also be sure to thank and praise God for all God does for us and gives us. Life is richer, fuller and more joyful when we have a close prayer relationship with God.

Opportunities for Prayer
Join members of El Buen Samaritano every Sunday for early morning prayer at 5AM in the sanctuary. Prayer is for issues that immigrants in our community have and for specific ministries to address these issues (special focus in domestic abuse and alcohol abuse). Spanish is helpful but not essential.

Please Pray about becoming part of the worship ministry of our congregation. There are many opportunities to serve through worship or music groups. Speak to Mike Muzzo (610-692-5190), minister of worship and music, for information or to sign up for the fall.
