Developing our Faith:
Responding with Faith to Immigration

Participate in this 10-week campaign from Independence Day to Labor Day to raise awareness and commitment among Christians about the concerns of immigrants.

What does the Bible say? What do we believe as the people of the United Methodist Church? What day-to-day challenges face new immigrants? How can we address these concerns in our life of prayer?

Our goal is to lead people from prayer to action. We are asking 100,000 faithful United Methodists to sign our pledge expressing their personal support for the immigration pledge.

Immigration Pledge

We pledge ourselves as followers of Christ to stand with our immigrant neighbors who have come to the United States from throughout the world. We recognize immigrants as human beings made in the image of God and we prayerfully commit ourselves to support laws that affirm their dignity, preserve their families, and acknowledge the value of their presence among us.
