Children are a tremendously important part of our church family at West Chester United Methodist Church.

 

We are a place where children are called by name. They are welcomed in worship. They are given words of encouragement. They feel loved. They know and experience God’s grace as part of a faith community that surrounds you and your child with love, care, nurture and hope.

 
We have many opportunities for your child to grow in their spiritual journey through Sunday School, music ministries, Sprouts and seasonal program such as Vacation Bible School.

 

Each Sunday at both worship services, children have a special time allotted specifically for them. This gives them a chance to hear part of the service at their own level, and to start building their own faith and church traditions.

  

  

  

  

Our objective at West Chester United Methodist Church is to strive to provide a safe, healthy environment for children and youth to reach their fullest potential as followers of God through Jesus Christ. All children and youth will be treated with courtesy, respect, and Christian concern while attending programs and activities at our church. In all our programs for children and youth, their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being will be our first concern.
