Celebrating:
Adult Music Ministry

At West Chester United Methodist Church, we have a tremendous music ministry for all ages and talents.  These Include the Chancel Choir (which sings at the 9 AM Traditional Service), the Praise Team (which provides the music at the 10:30 Contemporary Service) and the Carillon Choir (a handbell choir that performs monthly and during special events). Please contact Mike Muzzo with any questions or to learn more about the Adult Music Ministry.

The Chancel Choir (Adult Choir)

Rehearsals: Thursdays at 7:00 PM
                        in Room 10
Mike Muzzo, Director
Steve Campitelli, Accompanist/Organist

The Chancel Choir of West Chester United Methodist Church carries with it a long tradition of choral singing and ministry. The choir sings a variety of musical styles centering around classical and traditional choral music. Choir members experience good choral techniques, group vocal building, and other musical skills while keeping a focus on ministry to the congregation. The Chancel Choir sings every Sunday at the 9:00 AM worship service and presents several special music events through the church year.

The Praise Team

Practice: Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in the Fiesta Center
Will Young, Director

The Praise Team, singers and instrumentalists, provides special music and leads singing at the 10:30 AM Celebration Worship Service on Sunday mornings. Keyboards, guitar, bass and drums make up the band which accompanies the praise and worship music. The group sings and plays a variety of Contemporary Christian music styles.

The Carillon Choir (Adult Handbells)

Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:30 PM in Room 12
Brian Rotz, Director

The Carillon Choir ministers to the congregation in worship on a monthly basis playing original compositions as well as arrangements of favorite hymns and choruses. The choir enjoys sharing creative and more advanced handbell techniques. On occasion, the choir takes their joy of ringing to other events and churches.
