About Us

WHY "SHIFT"?

"Shift" is a synonym for "change," and that's what God's love does,
it changes people. We want to be changed and we want others' lives
to be changed. We want to become more like Jesus Christ,
whose ministry never stops. We want our spiritual journeys
and our ministries to be constantly in gear moving forward;
not in neutral or reverse.

WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO DO?
Build a spiritual home where you are family.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO BE?
A Christian community that invites everyone to know, love, and serve God.

HOW CAN WE DO IT?

By praying a lot,
caring a lot,
apologizing a lot,
forgiving a lot,
serving a lot,
giving a lot,
and learning a lot.

WHAT IS OUR STRATEGY?

We aim to provide a welcoming, safe
and encouraging place where youth:
INVESTIGATE Christianity,
CONNECT with God and God's family,
GROW a relationship with Jesus,
SERVE others with their gifts and abilities,
SHARE the good news of Christ with others,
and truly WORSHIP God with their whole lives.

WHO'S IT FOR?

Our programs and events are for students in grades 6-12.
Guests are always welcome!

IS IT SAFE?

We have State Criminal Record Checks and

Child Abuse History Clearances for all of our adult leaders.
